The primary goal of A & J is to provide shop support for manufacturers in many areas of the industry. A & J's daily goals include a commitment to excellence, a well developed partnership with its customers, and a proactive approach in determining its future. A & J continually grades itself on quality and delivery, while offering competitive pricing in an ever-changing, highly competitive marketplace. A & J's primary objective is dedicated to meeting the needs of its customers and vendors.
A brief History
A & J is a San Jose based company located in the heart
of SIlicon Valley. A & J is engaged in precision sheetmetal fabrication,
historically supporting high technology manufacturing companies. The business
was started in 1995 as a sole proprietorship of Amrik Atwal, a long time metal
fabrication shop manager for Computer Cabinet Corporation.
In January, 1996 Amrik formed a partnership with his wife Jagtar Atwal. A
& J has grown up in the electronics & semiconductor industries, and
is quite accustomed to the rigors of supporting short lead-times. During that
growth new members of management have been added, as well as capital
investments in the state-of-the-art production equipment, processes and process
controls.
