A Brief History
A & J is a San Jose based company located in the
heart of SIlicon Valley. A & J is engaged in
precision sheetmetal fabrication, historically
supporting high technology manufacturing
companies. The business was started in 1994 as
a sole proprietorship of Amrik Atwal, a long time
metal fabrication shop manager for Computer
Cabinet Corporation.
In January, 1996 Amrik formed a partnership with
his wife Jagtar Atwal. A & J has grown up in the
electronics & semiconductor industries, and is
quite accustomed to the rigors of supporting
short lead-times. During that growth new
members of management have been added, as
well as capital investments in the state-of-the-art
production equipment, processes and process
controls.
